Who we are

Troniq Ltd is the data controller for the personal information you give us through this website, by email or through eBay. Contact us at repairs@troniq.uk.

What we collect

When you book a repair: your name, email address, phone number, return address, vehicle details, registration, the part number and a description of the fault. When you send an enquiry: your name, email, phone if given, and details of the unit. We also keep a record of the repair, its status and parcel tracking numbers.

Why we use it

To carry out the repair you've asked for, return your unit, keep you updated, provide the warranty, and keep the business records the law requires. Our lawful basis is the performance of a contract with you, or steps you've asked us to take before entering into one, and our legal obligations for accounting records.

Who we share it with

Only the services we need to run the repair: our website and database host (Cloudflare), our email provider (Google), the courier returning your unit (Royal Mail), our payment provider, and eBay for orders placed there. We never sell your information or use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Repair records are kept for 6 years to meet accounting rules and support the lifetime warranty. Enquiries that don't lead to a repair are deleted after 12 months.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email us and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
